Today it was time to say goodbye to Tamarindo. We had booked an afternoon shuttle back to San Jose where our flights would leave early next morning. So we used the morning to take a nice long walk on the beach and go swimming once more. The light and air very early in the morning were simply beautiful: crisp, clear and just the right temperature. The best time of day to go running on the beach - just as these two obviously thought:
We also found a couple of pretty shells on the beach. My favorite was this cone-shaped one:
Back in the hotel, we discovered that playing in the waves has certain implications for swimwear: there was a ton of sand in my bikini, and even after rinsing it repeatedly, the amount of sand that came out never diminished.
