There was a lot to do today, but not much to write about. I started my journey back to the mainland at quarter to seven in the morning. After taking a taxi, bus, ferry, another bus, and a flight (in that order), I arrived back in Guayaquil in the afternoon.
Since I had already spent too much time in Guayaquil, I bought a bus ticket to Baños for the following day, and then spent the rest of the day catching up: skyping, writing emails, uploading blog posts - in short, doing all those things I hadn't been able to do with the crappy internet on the islands. Ah, the delights of fast internet! You really only appreciate it fully after you've been through a period of very bad service, don't you? ;-)
